| Week 11 NFL Picks And Predictions: ESPN And Yahoo!… | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Read More: Mark Sanchez (QB – NYJ), Tim Tebow (QB – DEN), New York Jets, Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow have made a habit of proving experts wrong the recent weeks, and once again the experts are predicting the Broncos will lose. This time, the experts have sided with Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets in the week 11 Thursday night matchup. ESPN’s panel has five experts who have made their picks for this week, and four out of the five expect the Broncos to fall to the Jets in prime time. The only dissenter was Seth Wickersham. Meanwhile, the three-man panel at Yahoo! has a 2-1 split in favor of the Jets, with Les Carpenter the only Broncos believer. At this point, Thursday night’s game is less than 12 hours away, so the Broncos won’t have to wait much longer to try and prove the majority of experts wrong. | Denver Broncos Injury Report: Willis McGahee…
Read More: Brian Dawkins (S – DEN), Willis McGahee (RB – DEN), Elvis Dumervil (DE – DEN), Julius Thomas (TE – DEN), Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos saw two new additions to the injury report on Thursday. Defensive tackle Marcus Thomas had limited participation in practice due to a knee injury. More information on the issue has not yet been released, but this is Thomas’ third injury of the year. A pectoral injury sidelined him during the preseason and the start of the season. Right before he was ready to return, Thomas suffered groin injury. Also added to the report was safety Brian Dawkins. He was excused from practice due to illness. Elvis Dumervil and Willis McGahee didn’t practice again, but that was expected. Dumervil will attempt to practice on Friday, but he will more than likely be out for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. Julius Thomas appears ready to play for the first time since he had a high-ankle sprain in Week 2′s victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Here is the Thursday injury report:

| Denver Broncos Injury Report: Broncos Have All 53… | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Read More: Brian Dawkins (S – DEN), Willis McGahee (RB – DEN), Eddie Royal (WR – DEN), Demaryius Thomas (WR – DEN), Julius Thomas (TE – DEN), Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos had all 53 men on the active roster participate on Thursday, the second time that has happened all season long. Only Willis McGahee saw a downgrade from full participation to limited. However, that should not be considered a sign that McGahee has a nagging back issue. According to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post, McGahee was limited so he could receive rest. McGahee turns 30 on Oct. 21 and he has shouldered much of the rushing load this season while Knowshon Moreno battled injury and general ineffectiveness. Brian Dawkins looks more and more likely to play even with a neck injury impacting his play. Tight end Julius Thomas hasn’t played since Week 2 when he suffered a high-ankle sprain. Here is the injury report through Thursday:

| Weber has Broncos’ best QB passer rating | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Read more: Denver Broncos, Best QB Passer Rating, Broncos Best QB, Kyle Orton, Tim Tebow, Brady Quinn, Adam Weber, Weber has Best Rating, Weber is Denver’s Best QB, Pro, NFL
ENGLEWOOD, COLO. (AP) — The Denver Broncos quarterback that finished the preseason with the best passer rating wasn’t starter Kyle Orton. It wasn’t Brady Quinn or Tim Tebow. Instead, it’s undrafted free agent Adam Weber, who had a 118.8 QB after completing his one and only pass of the preseason. It was an 89-yarder to Eron Riley in the waning seconds of Denver’s 26-7 loss at Arizona on Thursday night. The Broncos like Weber but didn’t give him much exposure during the exhibitions. Not only did they need to get a long look at Quinn and Tebow but they wanted to try to slip Weber through on waivers this weekend so they could sign him to their practice squad. Quinn didn’t do much to distinguish himself Thursday night, but Tebow wasn’t much better. (Copyright ©2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) | Denver Broncos Vs. Dallas Cowboys: Kyle Orton…

The Denver Broncos kickoff the 2011 preseason against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday evening. Follow , and Like SB Nation Denver on Facebook. Aug 11, 2011 – The Denver Broncos kick off their 2011 preseason with a road game in Arlington against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night. All eyes will, naturally, turn to the quarterback controversy between Kyle Orton, Tim Tebow and even Brady Quinn. Orton was named the first-string quarterback earlier this week when the first depth chart was released. Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn followed in order, but both will likely see the majority of playing time. Undrafted rookie Adam Weber should be in line for some playing time in the fourth quarter. But we should also watch how the new defensive line plays. Elvis Dumervil and Robert Ayers both return to defensive end while Kevin Vickerson and Brodrick Bunkley man the middle. Backups Ty Warren, Jeremy Jarmon and Derrick Harvey are also persons of interest in this game. The No. 2 overall pick the 2011 NFL Draft, Von Miller, will see his first action in the league and Broncos fans are looking for big things out of the rookie. The same goes for rookie safeties Rahim Moore, tentatively the starter at free safety, and Quinton Carter. Wide receivers Brandon Lloyd and Eddie Royal are iffy for the game on Thursday morning. Tune into K-USA 9 at 6:30 p.m. MT for the scheduled kickoff. There will be 30-minute pre- and post-game shows as well. For more on the Broncos, visit Mile High Report.
