The Denver Broncos will indeed begin training camp on Wed., July 27, with their first preseason game coming 15 days later on Thurs., August 11 against the Dallas Cowboys. Dove Valley will once again have the noise of training camp filling its grassy fields.
Andrew Mason of MaxBroncos.com reports that the first practice will follow on Thursday. It’s finally time for the quarterback battle between Tim Tebow, Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn to begin. But it could quickly turn into a two-man battle should the Broncos go ahead and trade Orton once they are allowed to talk with other teams.
The Broncos will also need to welcome some new faces to Dove Valley when they sign their rookies and bring in free agents to fill holes on the defensive line and at running back.

The Denver Broncos will ask for a second-round draft choice from any team that wants to acquire quarterback Kyle Orton, The Denver Post reported Tuesday.
The Broncos went 3-10 in games Orton, 28, started in spite of him posting some big numbers when healthy. Orton completed 293 of 498 passes (58.8 percent) for 3,653 yards and 20 touchdowns. He threw nine interceptions. Orton’s passer rating of 87.5 was 15th in the league.
The Broncos are intent on moving forward with Tim Tebow, who accounted for 11 touchdowns — six rushing — while passing for 654 yards and running for 227 more in three games. Denver also has veteran Brady Quinn on the roster.

When the Denver Broncos drafted Tim Tebow with the 25th pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the buzz around the league was how Tim would fit into the Denver offense, who already had Kyle Orton coming off a solid year and another first rounder as a backup in Brady Quinn.
